Looks like Meizu will enter the phablet market with its upcoming MX3 smartphone. This hint comes from the phone’s printed circuit board, which was leaked on Meizu forums few days ago. After “careful forensic research,” experts at the forum concluded that the MX3 will have a 5.5-inch or bigger display since the mentioned circuit board is 75mm wide.

It is also said that the device may also come with NFC support (50% probability), microSD card slot (80% probability) and removable 2200-2400 mAh battery (90% probability). Unfortunately, LTE connectivity will likely be left for some future model.

Previously, we’ve reported that the Meizu MX3 will have an HTC One-like design, boasting top-notch specs that include Samsung’s Exynos 5410 Octa processor, 2GB of RAM, 1920×1200 pixels screen with very narrow bezel, and an 8-megapixel camera.

The Chinese company is best known as the maker of the first iPhone clone. Later on, it evolved into a “regular” smartphone manufacturer that also makes its custom UI to sing on top of Android core. Meizu phones are rarely available outside of the mainland China, though.
