Jobs: Official trailer for Steve Jobs movie gets released

The biographical film based on Steve Jobs, entitled Jobs, has its first official movie trailer out. The movie stars Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs and Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak. It mostly portrays Steve in his earlier years just getting started with Apple, as well as when he left (and eventually returned to) the company. It presumably aims to showcase his legacy, too.

It’s mainly a drama, but I picked up from the trailer that there might be some subtle comedy thrown in there as well. That might just be me though. It looks pretty good as a movie, although some critics have already complained that the story isn’t entirely factually accurate. That’s to be expected of a movie, but as long as the gist of Steve Jobs’s life is shown legitimately it shouldn’t be too disappointing.

You can watch the first official trailer for the Jobs movie below. It’s slated for release in theaters on August 16, 2013.
