Another Sign New iPhones are Coming? Fido to Deplete iPhone 3G Stock Starting in April

fido-iphoneRogers’ discount carrier up in Canada, Fido, has put out some interesting news surrounding the iPhone 3G. Apparently Fido is planning to discontinue sales of the 16GB iPhone model, and are gearing up to deplete their stock at the beginning of April. They will not be reordering any new iPhones once stock is gone. That is, they won’t be reordering any of the current generation iPhone devices… 🙂

This looks to be just another small sign that new iPhone model(s) could very well be due to hit us this summer. With carriers unloading their stock of 8GB and 16GB iPhone 3G’s… all signs are pointing to next gen iPhones coming real soon. In the meantime, there’s never been a better time to pick up an iPhone 3G, as prices are dropping fast and will probably continue to do so until stock runs dry.
