
Today we’re presenting you with yet another Pantech’s device which you probably won’t see around in the Western hemisphere. It’s the WPP-8000 and it’s not a regular phone. Launched through LG Dacom, this simple looking candybar doesn’t rely on standard cellular networks (like GSM or CDMA) — rather it works through wireless LAN using the carrier’s iHub service. As a result, users can access latest news and other information without extra data charges.
