Samsung launched a new application/service for folks who own both a Samsung smartphone and Samsung PC. Called HomeSync Lite, it obviously has something similar with the full-blown HomeSync device, unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. However, there isn’t a single piece of hardware included here — rather it’s all about the software which resides on your PC and lets you easily backup media files from your phone and/or tablet, and easily access them at a later date. Yes, this includes video streaming from a PC to your mobile device.
Available as a free download, HomeSync Lite works with up to 5 user accounts per PC and up to 6 devices per user account. If you’re already all versed in the Samsung hardware, we say – give it a shot. There’s really no reason why your media files should occupy the precious space of your smartphone, tablet and/or smart camera…
