The rugged, new Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is now available in the UK. However, you still can’t get it with a carrier contract and will rather have to pay the full price to own one. And it’s a hefty price, with Unlocked-Mobiles asking 494.98 GBP (about $734) for the SIM-free unit that can be used with any network you fancy.
Although expensive, the “Active” version of the Sammy’s flagship device has a lot to offer, including top-notch specs (though not as high-end as the regular Galaxy S4) and the ever-useful waterproof body.
In the US, it was AT&T which got to be the first carrier to sell Galaxy S4 Active and at the moment we’ve no idea whether some other operator will also be offering this device. We do think interested Brits will soon be able to buy the S4 Active with a carrier contract. We may get back to you with more on this if we catch some really cool deal. Stay tuned…
