Cricket Communications unveiled a new version of its popular Muve Music application used to access the carrier’s all-you-can-eat music downloads service. The application has been revamped from the ground up, featuring faster performance and a new UI that allows for even easier exploration of music and improved navigation. For instance, users will now have immediate access to all the core features of Muve Music with the new sidebar navigation menu, and there’s also an option to instantly play their favorite song as soon as it begins downloading.

Perhaps more important, no longer will you be required to use special Muve Music SD cards with “regular” memory cards or internal memory working just as well. Plus let’s not forget Muve Mixes, custom playlists made by Muve Music experts that you can download to a song library.

Muve Music 4.0 is being offered on the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Discover, Galaxy Admire 2; and will come standard on all future Android based smartphones from Cricket.

Muve Music was originally launched in January 2011 and has since become one of the fastest-growing and leading on-demand digital music services in the United States. Nearly 1.7 million Cricket customers have Muve Music as part of their monthly rate plan.
