Samsung Wallet is now available in Google Play store, ready to sing along select Samsung devices, including the Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note II, with support for other smartphones and tablets presumingly coming later in the year.

Similar to Apple’s Passbook, the application allows users to store and manage tickets, coupons and more, without ever having to deal with paper. In order to use it, you’ll need a Samsung Apps account, that will make sure all of you valuable information can be switched from one Samsung phone to another. There’s also push notification support, alerting you when your coupons are due, when your flight is coming (or whatever).

Samsung Wallet can also sing along other apps though the company failed to mention which apps are those. We do know that Samsung mentioned it’s managed to corned few companies like Expedia.com, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Walgreens, MLB and Lufthansa, and again – with more of them likely to be added at a later point. Unfortunately, there are no financial transactions of any kind included in the Wallet but we’re sure that part is coming, as well… we’re just not sure when that will happen.
