We’re finally making some decent progress. It’s about damn time. After plenty of unwelcome delays, it looks like Verizon is finally preparing to release the HTC One. No, unfortunately pricing, availability, and color options aren’t mentioned quite yet. Instead a signup page went live on Verizon’s website where you can enter your email address to receive information about the HTC One as its announced.

“Elegant and packed with great features, this Android smartphone will be available on the Verizon 4G LTE network later this summer,” Verizon writes. If the carrier plans on sticking to what it says, this means the HTC One will be out no later than September. The recently rumored August 29th release date would fall comfortably within that time span.

You may have noticed that in addition to pricing and availability above I also mentioned that color options weren’t mentioned just yet. Rumor also has it that Verizon will offer the HTC One in an exclusive blue color most likely in addition to the silver and black options now. Time will tell how that plays out.

Big Red has a busy next few weeks as it also prepares for the release of the new Droids as well as the Moto X.
