HTC has started rolling out Android 4.2 update for its Tegra 3-powered One X in Europe. Aside from the newer version of the platform, HTC included Sense 5 UI, along with BlinkFeed, video highlights, new Gallery and Camera apps. Plus, we guess that some other apps are updated as well, while many of the bugs are squashed to make for an overall improved (as in – faster) experience.
The 380MB-heavy download is now available in couple of European countries, including Slovakia and Denmark with other markets most likely getting it in the next few days or weeks.
Once the update is completed, your One X will run firmware version 4.18.401.2.
Next in line to get this software is the HTC One X+ which, according to HTC insider @LlabTooFeR, will get the same treatment soon.
