TCL’s Alcatel Idol X to get a successor in the form of nearly borderless TCL N3

TCL, which we know as the owner of the Alcatel brand, is readying a successor to its popular Idol X model. The upcoming smartphone, marked as N3, will apparently have a nearly borderless, edge-to-edge screen as you can see from the render above.

The rumor goes on suggesting this unit will rock a full HD 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, and MediaTek’s quad- or perhaps 8-core core processor. The screen size is still a mystery though some sources suggest we’re talking about a phablet that could come with a 5.7-inch panel.

TCL/Alcatel is offering some of its phones in the West but they had hard time convincing operators to sell these devices. Hopefully that will change with the N3, with users getting another option to choose from…
