PS3 and PS Vita owners are in for a treat, as Sony announced a major sale on the Playstation Network. The sale starts tomorrow, August 27th and goes through September 2. It puts 11 games on sale for as much as 75% (for Playstation Plus subscribers).
The promotion is a tie in with the upcoming Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) Prime show happening soon in Seattle. The event showcases Indy games and all 11 of the discounted games were chosen because they were shown off at previous PAX events.
There are tons of great titles here but if you only choose a couple, Limbo and Journey are 2 favorites of mine. Journey is the meditative travel game that was on nearly every best of list for 2012. Limbo is the sleeper hit that combines a special blend of platforming, puzzle solving and sheer terror – all presented in a high contrast black and white, silhouetted package.
For $7.49 a piece (or just $3.75 with Playstation Plus), I can’t recommend you get these 2 enough
