Panasonic is preparing to unveil a 20-inch tablet at the upcoming IFA in Berlin. The device will sport a 4K (3840×2160 pixels) OLED screen which is packed into the world’s thinnest and lightest packaging (for a 20-inch tablet). And when you think about it, it’s not like the Japanese company is competing with a number of other devices that rock a 20-inch screen so scoring that “world’s thinnest” title didn’t come as a problem.

Rest of the specs aren’t unveiled but we think this thing gotta have some powerful processor like Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or NVIDIA Tegra 4 to provide a smooth user experience.

Anyhow, we’re glad to see Panasonic getting back to the mobile game. We’re just hoping more people will want their tablet than their smartphones, which didn’t sell that well… quite the contrary.

And while I’m not sure I would want a 20-inch tablet, I’m sure there are folks who would crave for one. Are you in that group or you prefer smaller devices?
