Lyft sets up shop in Indianapolis, St. Paul, and Atlanta

Lyft, the popular ride sharing service, announced that it has expanded to new cities that include Indianapolis, St. Paul, and Atlanta, adding up the total number of locations to ten. This comes after its competitor Uber said it’s bringing its taxi hailing service to the land of Dubai. The company expressed its decision to choose Indianapolis due to the city being “a leader in sustainability and innovation in transportation.”

Having companies like Lyft come to as many cities as possible is great for travelers looking for a better, more simplified way to get back and forth to work or wherever. However, many taxi lobbyists in major cities like a New York or Los Angeles continue to place roadblocks in front of innovating services like Lyft and Uber (to name a few).
