LG has officially announced the G Pad 8.3, its first tablet since the original Optimus Pad. As you would imagine, this thing packs an 8.3-inch screen with a 1920×1200 pixels resolution and a super-slim body that makes it weigh just 338 grams.
Rest of the specs include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, 16GB of internal storage and a decent 4,600mAh battery. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is running the show.
The Korean company failed to mention the launch date though it did say the G Pad 8.3 will be rolled out globally in key markets including North America, Europe and Asia in the fourth quarter of 2013. Users will be able to choose between black and white versions.
Personally, I love the size of the G Pad 8.3 — it’s not too big and not too small, making it ideal to carry around. What do you say?
