ASUS will unveil the new PadFone Infinity next Tuesday (September 17th), Engadget is reporting. The slightly updated version of the smartphone/tablet combo will sport a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip (rather than Snapdragon 600), microSD card slot and there will also be an all-white version available.
And that’s about all we know at this stage. We’re hoping that a keyboard dock will also be released, effectively turning your smartphone (and tablet) into a full-blown laptop. That part, unfortunately, is still not confirmed. But we can hope, right?
Finally, we are looking forward to see ASUS making deals with carriers to make the new PadFone Infinity available all across the world…
