Gameloft will Optimize Its HD Android Games for Intel’s Mobile Architecture

Mobile gaming giant Gameloft made big announcement today. It’s started a partnership with chip maker Intel, one that will see Gameloft Android titles for Intel chips. All of Gameloft’s upcoming HD games for Android will be tweaked for top performance on Intel processors.

So anyone running an Android device in the near future that sports Intel’s architecture will have all of Gameloft’s titles optimized for their device. It’s a great move for both companies, especially since Intel’s trying to get a larger foothold in the mobile market.

Gameloft Collaborates with Intel to Offer Android HD Games for Intel Architecture
All upcoming Gameloft titles will be optimized for Android platforms using Intel Architecture
Paris, September 11, 2013: Gameloft, a leading global publisher of digital and social games, today at the Intel Developer Forum 2013 announced with Intel, their plans to enhance upcoming Gameloft titles for Android platforms using Intel architecture.

“We are thrilled to optimize our upcoming games for new Android platforms running Intel architecture and once again expand our game catalogue to new high-performance smartphones and tablets,” states Gonzague De Vallois, senior vice president of Publishing at Gameloft. “Intel’s innovative hardware platforms help us unleash our development capabilities for even greater creativity and reach new audiences.”
