Nokia unveiled a pair of low-cost camera phones for the emerging markets – Nokia 108 and 108 Dual SIM. Made for the “next billion mobile users,” these handsets don’t come with fancy features modern smartphones offer but that’s kinda expected when we know they cost just $29.

Specs wise, the Nokia 108 and 108 Dual SIM sport a VGA camera, 1.8-inch color screen, Bluetooth, FM radio, music player, Nokia’s Slam sharing service, music player and a memory expansion slot that supports microSD cards of up to 32GB. In addition, both phones come with a long-lasting battery that provides up to 31 days of standby time on the Nokia 108, or up to 25 days on Nokia 108 Dual SIM.

Availability wise, Nokia will start selling these two at some point in the fourth quarter, offering them in few color options, including red, black, white, cyan and yellow.

Finally, to get a better idea what the new Nokia 108 phones are all about, the Finnish company prepared a short demo video. Check it out.
