We’re still in the early stages of the console wars, and both Microsoft and Sony are making big claims about the Xbox One and Playstation 4. Today Sony released its projections for PS4 sales and they’re quite ambitious. Sony plans on selling 5 Million PS4s by April 2014!
Sony execs haven’t been shy about boasting about the company’s new console. Claims of console superiority and huge sales estimates have been trickling out of Sony since E3. Still, Sony wouldn’t release these kind of numbers if the company didn’t feel confident in the projection.
Sony’s been riding high on the hype around its PS4. The console looks like it’ll be great but it certainly didn’t hurt that Microsoft kind of fumbled the Xbox unveiling. Both consoles are releasing this November, in time for the Holiday season.
Will Sony’s 5 Million sales projection pan out? We’ll just have to wait until April to see. Either way the PS4 and Xbox One will be blowing us all away soon!
