We’ve told you that Chinese Coolpad is working on a smart watch of its own, and voila – the cWatch C1 has been officially announced alongside a 5.9-inch phablet called Magview 4.

That phablet is pretty darn good, boasting the super-fast NVIDIA Tegra 4 quad-core chip clocked at 1.8GHz, 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel f/2.0 camera on the back. All this is packed into a fancy aluminum shell, making for a premium look and feel, and justifying a high price tag of 3,980 Yen (about $650).

The watch is waterprroof, featuring notifictions for calendars, calls and messages though we guess some other capabilities will be included shortly.

In addition, Coolpad also unveiled a pair of CoolHub accessories. The CoolHub combines a battery with a Bluetooth speaker, a microSD card reader and NFC tag support. The CoolHub 2 has all this plus environmental sensors and a pedometer.

No word when or even whether any of these new Coolpad products will ever make it to the Western hemisphere. We’ll let you know if we hear something on this…
