Looks like Nokia is gearing towards launching another low-cost Windows Phone device, Lumia 525 aka Glee. The information comes from EVleaks, which unfortunately failed to mention to launch date. We do, however, know that Finns are preparing a big event on October 22nd and that could be the time when the Lumia 525 is officially unveiled.

The story doesn’t end there, though.

According to TheVerge’s Tom Warren, this device will be “more important for Windows Phone than the Lumia 1520,” which will be the platform’s first phablet.

This claim is justified with the price; the Lumia 520 was the best-selling Windows Phone handset ever, and its successor (Glee) could easily push Windows Phone to the new heights.

The Nokia Lumia 525’s specs are still unknown, but the chances are we’re talking about an entry-level device that comes with a WVGA screen, some dual-core chip, 5-megapixel rear camera, 1GB of RAM, and expandable storage. Now we just have to wait for the official announcement to get all the details. Stay tuned in the meantime…
