Samsung KNOX is now available in Canada. The solution that keeps business and personal information separated on a single device — thus allowing users to bring and use their own devices in the business setting — is launching with Bell Mobility. This, in turn, makes Bell the first carrier in the world to offer Samsung KNOX.

Announced at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Samsung KNOX is as an end-to-end solution that provides enhanced security from the hardware through to the application layer featuring Security Enhancements for Android, Trusted Secure Boot, and TrustZone-based Kernel Integrity Measurement. It comes with a suite of enterprise applications including email, file sharing, CRM, browser, contacts and collaboration, while supporting existing enterprise infrastructure such as MDM (Mobile Device Management), VPN and directory services. Plus, there’s the automatic integration with some of existing Android apps such as FIPS compliant VPN, Enterprise Single Sign On (SSO), Active Directory and on-device encryption.

At the moment, Samsung KNOX works only with the brand-new Galaxy Note 3 with support for Galaxy S4 and other Samsung devices coming soon.
