Sony may be among the first handset makers to launch the Android 4.4 KitKat update. According to the latest rumor we’ve got, the Japanese company may bless Xperia Z1 users with the latest version of Android as soon as next month. The date is apparently set for November 7th, and soon afterwards – Sony will also rollout the same goodies to other devices, including the Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z.
At present, it is still unclear what the next version of Android brings to the table. As far as I’ve understood, many things will be polished making for a that much better user experience.
Presuming Sony does manage to bring Android 4.4 to the Xperia Z1 within the next three weeks, the company will get a much-needed boost and eventually sell a large number of devices. We’ll (naturally) get back to you as soon as there’s something new to add to this story…
