There is no shortage of Android launchers out there. Like the existing options are not enough, Celltick it joining the market with its own solution that will allow operators, OEMs and other companies to offer a branded user experience, while keeping the channel open for post-sale customer communication.

The Start app enables businesses to engage their users on the most prized real estate on the mobile device – the start screen. At the same time, the application also brings value to the end-users, presenting them with a nice-lookin’ UI with quick access to popular phone features and services.

Start is also highly personalizable making it “different for each user.” It incorporates a recommendation engine based on big data technologies and uses collaborative filtering for individualizing the initial configuration as well as do ongoing recommendations based on user behavior… Though you can always manually customize things the way you like. With Start, carriers can provide a high value interface to their subscribers that increases engagement, creates a rich branded communication medium and provides increased monetization. Media companies may utilize Start to have an easy way to transition their assets from the Web to the mobile, consolidating them on the start screen while improving engagement and monetization.
