Yahoo Screen app for iOS devices has been updated, allowing users to beam content from their iPhones and/or iPads to the big screen with Apple AirPlay. Yup, that means you can stream the best of Saturday Night Live and Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report and South Park from your iDevice to an HDTV. Plus, you get to simultaneously browse the app to pick the next video to enjoy.
In addition, the application also got push notifications that will be used to alert you whenever breaking news or events happen, or when there are some important things going on within Screen.
Finally, the app now fully supports live video — you’ll see a red “live” icon appear if a particular video is broadcasting right now. For instance, on October 22n, Yahoo Music will be exclusively streaming the Katy Perry, iHeart Radio Album release party which you can watch live from the app!
