Facebook is not giving up on its Home software, rolling out a new update which integrates Instagram, Flickr, Tumblr and Pinterest posts into the home screen launcher.
The social integration, which first appeared in Facebook’s beta channel has arrived for a select number of Android devices, such as the Samsung galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, Nexus 4, HTC First, HTC One X, HTC One X+ and the HTC One. Facebook Home requires Android 4.0 or later.
Along with the Home updates, some new features have been added to the Facebook app as well. Here’s the changelog:
- Swipe right and tap the lock by your name to get to your privacy shortcuts
- Set reminders for upcoming episodes of your favorite TV shows on participating Pages (US only)
- Bug fixes
If you’re a Facebook Home user, get ready to see updates from more of your social networks gracing your homescreen.
