HTC has started rolling out a massive update for its One SV smartphone. The 431.05MB-heavy download packs a newer version of Android (4.2.2) as well as Sense UI 5.0. A number of bug fixes and software tweaks come included as well, delivering an improved and more stable user experience.
According to this thread at XDA Forums (via AndroidPolice), the rollout has started in Europe though not all users got it just yet. It should arrive any day now though, and no one stops you from manually checking whether a newer firmware is available for download (or not). Hop over to “Settings” -> “About phone” and take it from there. Just make sure you have enough juice to complete the process — i.e. your battery should be full — and you’re better off downloading such a big file while connected to a fast Wi-Fi hotspot…
