Google of all companies is getting cozy with the idea of bringing its apps and services to Windows Phone. After updating the Search app, they’re bringing Waze to Microsoft’s mobile platform.
Just like its iOS and Android counterparts, Waze for Windows Phone provides users with access to real-time traffic reports. You can navigate your way around the city relying on accurate travel time information, accidents and user-based traffic alerts. In addition, there are the ever handy community-shared fuel prices, allowing you to save some cash along the way.
Waze has around 50 million users all around the world, helping crowdsource roads. And yet again, we can’t help but hope that the next Google app for Windows Phone will be YouTube, which has been desperately missing from the platform.
Windows Phone has been steadily closing the “app gap” in the last few weeks and months, with its users getting such popular apps as Vine and Instagram.
