Good folks from TUAW caught this amazing iPhone 6 concept that rocks a wrap-around screen making for a true “all-touchscreen” experience. However, while technology to make this possible is already available — with Samsung planning to launch such a device next year — somehow we doubt Apple is thinking between these lines. For one thing, we don’t think Cook & Co. would put shortcuts to most popular apps on the side of the phone, right next to (virtual) volume buttons.
On the other hand, we do expect a more of an edge-to-edge display in any iPhone Apple launches during 2014. It remains to be seen whether that model will also have a (much) bigger screen. While some analysts were craving for bigger-screen iPhone, Apple fan boys keep loving their small devices for their portability (among other things).
