Concept designs are always the best, even though the possibilities of them actually becoming reality are sparse. Most concept designs pull from knowledge and rumors of the upcoming devices, citing industry insiders or patent filings that have recently been approved or spotted. SET Solution has created an amazing iPhone concept, dubbed the iPhone Air. With a little less than a year away before the Cupertino company launches its next iPhone, there’s no telling what the next generation of iPhones will look like. But we can sure hope they look as good as this concept.
As far as naming goes, it would make sense for Apple to drop the numbering scheme for their iPhones and adapt the Air moniker. We saw the newest iPad take the name, which first caught fire with the thin and powerful MacBook Air a few years ago.
The concept video shows us a sleek and sexy iPhone that touts Touch ID, a 5″ Retina Display, a 10MP camera with a dual-LED flash and a weight of 70 grams. The concept envisions an updated processor and a tapered body design. The iPhone Air measures 3mm at the base and tapers to 1.5mm at the top.
