@evleaks: LG G Flex Coming to Sprint, Could Be Sprint Spark Compatable

According to @evleaks, the curvy, almost indestructible LG G Flex will be landing on Sprint’s network in the near future. This coincides with a report from late November which saw the Sprint variant of the LG G Flex passing through the FCC’s website. The AT&T and T-Mobile variants of the G Flex have also been seen passing through the FCC, with the Verizon variant being absent at the moment.

We’re not sure if the LG G Flex will be Sprint Spark compatible, but we’re inclined to say it will. The LG G Flex that was seen passing through the FCC supports the 800, 1900 and 2500MHz bands, which are the bands Sprint uses for its Spark tri-band data network. If Spark does indeed work as promised, we should see download speeds of up to 60Mbps with Spark enabled devices.

The LG G Flex is no slouch in the hardware department, touting a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 6 inch HD Curved P-OLED screen, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 3,500mAh battery and runs on Android 4.2. Hopefully the G Flex will be rocking Android 4.4 KitKat by the time it is released, but we’ll have to wait and see on that one.

While we haven’t seen any signs of the Verizon LG G Flex, we can’t imagine Big Red not offering the curvy device in the future.
