Some two weeks ago we’ve told you that LG may be working on a Mini version of its flagship smartphone. At that time, we’ve heard that the forthcoming G2 Mini may sport Qualcomm’s super-fast Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip, 2GB of RAM and 4.7-inch full HD screen.
Now we have new information, saying that may not be the case. An LG device marked as D410 has surfaced on GFXBench and this could be the “real” G2 Mini. It’s not as powerful as the earlier rumors suggested, but it should manage to deliver a decent value for the money, nonetheless (presuming it’s not too expensive).
According to GFXBench, the G2 Mini will come with a Galaxy S4 Mini-like qHD (540 x 960 pixels) screen, Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 graphics, while running Android 4.4 KitKat right from the get-go. Screen size is not mentioned but we would guess the smaller G2 will have either a 4.3- or 4.5-inch display. More to come, obviously…
