Southern Telecom, which is an authorized Polaroid licensee, announced a series of affordable Polaroid Q tablets. A total of three devices have been unveiled, with prices ranging from $129 to $179.

As their names are saying, the Polaroid Q7 has a 7-inch screen, Q8 – 8-inch one, and Q10 is a 10-inch tablet. All models come with Wi-Fi connectivity, unspecified quad-core processors (we tend to think they are made by MediaTek), front and rear cameras, front-mounted speakers, while the latest version of Android (4.4 – KitKat) is running the show.

Availability wise, these three will start selling at some point this spring. We’re not sure whether they’ll be available in the West or will be “stuck” to few emerging markets. We’re sure Southern Telecom would love to bring them to as many places as humanly possible, but things aren’t always that easy. We’ll let you know when we get something new on this. Stay tuned in the meantime.
