The previously leaked LG Lifeband Touch fitness tracker has been officially announced at CES in Las Vegas. The small device is made to seamlessly count your calorie consumption, steps walked, and more. It pairs with compatible smartphones (iOS and Android) via Bluetooth 4.0, while providing users with notifications on a small OLED touchscreen, which can also be used to accept incoming calls and control music playback.

In addition, the Life Band Touch also comes with so called “heart beat earphones” that can apparently measure the blood flow in your ear to quantify heart rate. This thing is still in development but as far as we’ve understood, we shouldn’t wait forever to get it.

Pricing and availability information were not mentioned and we’ll have to wait a little longer to get those details. Stay tuned in the meantime…
