Tina Fey Makes Fun of Michael Bay’s CES Freakout at The Golden Globes

Who would have thought that nerdy CES 2014 news would make its way into the limelight? Michael Bay’s CES 2014 freakout at a Samsung event was the talk of the blogosphere last week, and it has now become fodder for Tina Fey at the 2014 Golden Globe awards.

Michael Bay was thrust into the limelight last week after he fumbled a presentation at Samsung’s press conference at CES 2014 in Las Vegas. The Transformers director was about to talk about Samsung’s curved UHD TV’s when the teleprompter failed causing Bay to lose it and storm off stage.

Although Fey only takes a round 20 seconds to mock Bay, it’s still amusing. And it shows just how popular technology shows and new gadgets are now the property of mainstream culture, not just a small group of tech enthusiasts.
