The reboot of Tomb Raider in 2013 was successful to say the least, selling over one million copies within the 48 hours of its release, but the next-gen version of the popular title should have you pretty excited even if you’ve played through it before. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is set to land on PS4 and Xbox One on January 28th, where players will be treated to a massive helping of improved visuals across the board.

IGN put together a video comparing the PS3 and PS4 versions of the latest Tomb Raider game, with Crystal Dynamics exec Scot Amos shedding some light on what the team had the opportunity to do with the next-gen consoles to bring Lara to life in a way we have yet to see her before. Complete with new head.

Take a look at the video below. It’s hard not to be impressed.

While I’ve to play this Tomb Raider title, a comparison video like this is pretty much all I need to know that it’ll be in my PS4 some time very soon.
