Verizon to finally launch the Nokia Lumia Icon on February 20th?

Yeah I know; you’ve heard it all before. “Verizon will launch the Nokia Lumia Icon,” and nothing happened. This time it’s different. Or so we think.

What looks like the best Windows Phone device ever will be available for pre-order later this week with shipments starting on February 20th. The marketing materials are reportedly ready, Nokia’s out with that teaser clip on YouTube, and Verizon’s own inventory listings confirms the date. Heck, WPcentral says that Microsoft on its end will get involved, and start accepting pre-order at its Stores on Wednesday, February 12th, with a $50 deposit.

As you probably already know, this is the Nokia you want to buy. It has all the bells and whistles of the Lumia 1520 in a smaller form factor. The Lumia Icon 929 rocks a 5-inch full HD screen, 2GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip, 20MP camera on the back, while Windows Phone 8 GDR3 is running the show. It is said Verizon will offer this Lumia in black and white…
