4 reasons to buy Nexus 8 when it launches later this year

Chances are we’ll see Nexus 8 launching later this year. In fact, Google may officially announce this tablet as early as April, as one of the rumors we’ve heard suggests something like that.

Presuming you don’t like 10-inch or bigger devices, we believe this is the best Android tablet you will be able to buy this year. Here’s why:

1. Nexus 8 will offer best value for money
The LG G Pad 8.3 is already one of the best tablets you can buy, but Nexus 8 should go one step further. That was the case with the original Nexus 7 and while the 2013 Edition kinda ruined Google’s reputation, we tend to think it [reputation] will come back with an 8-inch tablet.

2. More power
Nexus 8 will likely rock Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip, instead of Snapdragon 600 found in the G Pad 8.3. Samsung uses the same chip in its LTE-enabled 8-inch Galaxy TAB Pro 8.4, but that model will cost much more. In fact, Samsung is getting a bit crazy with prices of its gear, but that’s another story.

3. Latest version of Android, always
Because it will be sold directly by Google (and some carrier partners), the Nexus 8 will always be among the first devices to get the latest version of Android. Yeah, you can say that the LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition will get the similar treatment, but that model isn’t available all around the world.

4. Best tablet size
We think 8-inch tablets are the best. You get something that’s easy to carry around, while also having a big-enough screen for a more desktop-like experience. The sales of Apple’s iPad Mini (kinda) prove this claim.

So are you going to grab the Nexus 8 once it’s out?
