This year we should see the next version of Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone released. Dubbed Mi4, the device has been caught at Antutu benchmarks from where we get to learn about its internals. These include fastest version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 chip (MSM8974 AC), clocked at 2.46GHz. In addition, the Mi4 will also pack 3GB of RAM, 16GB of flash storage, 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter for making some seriously awesome selfies.

The unit that was benchmarked at Antutu ran Android 4.3 with Xiaomi’s own MIUI skin singing on top. We would have to guess that this isn’t the final build and that before the phone is out, the Chinese company will manage to make it run KitKat.

Finally, we’re hoping that Xiaomi will make this model available in many markets all around the world. Chinese have long had the privilege of being the only nation to play with Xiaomi’s gear. Kinda unfair, when you think about it. 😉
