The entry-level Cyber-shot handset, Sony Ericsson C510, has been spotted at the company’s Canadian website, hinting us we could see this baby start selling in no time. Naturally the largest GSM carrier in the country, Rogers Wireless, instantly comes to mind as a potential partner for the Swedish-Japanese handset maker and we’ll probably see them announcing the new device in the near future.
Of course, we’re talking about the C510a version of the device, which prides itself with 3G radio that can sing along Rogers’ (and AT&T’s for that matter) 3G network.
Rest of the specs — aside from 3G/HSDPA capability — include a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and slide-in lens cover, auto-rotation (accelerometer), Bluetooth, media player, FM radio with RDS, and a Memory Stick Micro M2 expansion slot. An array of camera-based technologies and software are also there — including face detection, geotagging and LED flash. Size wise, the Sony Ericsson C510 measures 107x47x12.5 mm and has a weight of 92 grams…
