If you thought Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were awesome, get ready for a new Batman adventure coming your way in 2014. Rocksteady is behind the release, which will put players in the shoes of Batman in a bigger Gotham City than has been depicted in the past. As for villains, Batman will face off against Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn as well as Scarecrow.

Batman: Arkham Knight is being billed as the last in the Arkham series, allowing Batman full use of his Batmobile as well as the ability to traverse rooftops and tall buildings. Sounds pretty sweet to me! Product description follows below.

Batman: Arkham Knight Product Details

In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever.Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady’s uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is driveable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City.Be The Batman.

As far as release dates go, Rocksteady is only saying 2014, not specifying exactly when in 2014 we will see the game. We’ll have to wait and see.
