Like that was the case with the Galaxy S4, this year’s model will also be available in multiple “variants,” Galaxy S5 Zoom being one of them. At least we have something like that on the GFXBench website, where the Samsung phone marked as SM-C115 has recently passed through the tests.
The specs of this phone suggest the next Zoom will grow in size, dumping a 4.3-inch qHD screen for a bigger 4.8-inch 720p HD one. In addition, this model will also have a camera that can capture more pixels (20MP vs 16MP the Galaxy S4 Zoom had) while sporting Sammy’s newly unveiled 1.3GHz Exynos 5 Hexa chip with ARM Mali-T624 graphics. In addition, it will come with 2GB of RAM, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a microSD memory card slot, while Android 4.4.2 KitKat will run the show right from the box. It remains to be seen when this phone will be officially out but chances are we’ll see it launching in the next few months. More to come, obviously.
