Roughly a month ago we’ve told you about Europe’s first Tegra 4i smartphone, Wiko WAX; now we know its price. According to cellulari.it (and brought to our attention by GSMarena), this device will sell for no more than 200 EUR. For that amount of cash, users will get a decent mid-range device with a 1.7GHz NVIDIA Tegra 4i chip, 1GB of RAM, 4.7-inch 720p HD screen, 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, and just 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded with microSD cards. 4G LTE support comes included, making sure you can connect to fast Internet in select areas (with a LTE signal).
The Wiko WAX will debut in Italy, with users in Germany and France getting it next. And we guess few other EU countries will follow soon afterwards.
While that’s all nice, we now want to see the first Tegra K1 mobile device launching; alas, we likely won’t see it before the second half of the year…
