Just as expected, ZTE has officially announced the Nubia X6, a powerful phablet with top-notch specs and sexy lookin’ all alloy body. The 7.9-thin device has a huge 6.44-inch full HD (1080p) screen, LTE connectivity support (both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE), dual-SIM capability, Qualcomm’s potent Snapdragon 801 quad-core chip, 3GB of RAM, massive 4250mAh battery, and a pair of 13-megapixel cameras.

You got that right, the X6 will have a 13MP camera on the back *and* front, both of which will boast a 5-element lens. The rear camera supports Optical Image Stabilization and has a bright f/2.0 aperture, while the front-facing one has a BSI sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Pretty impressive I would say.

The 32GB variant with 2.3ghz processor will go on sale in China for 2999 Yuan (about $483), while the Nubia X6 with 64GB of internal storage and slightly faster Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5Ghz will sell for 3499 Yuan ($564). No word when this monster-phone will hit the West but we’re certain ZTE is pitching carriers all around the world as we speak…
