Bigger screens require bigger batteries, and bigger batteries take longer to charge. That could change with a new technology developed by Israeli firm named StoreDot, which promises to shorten the battery charging time to just 30 seconds. You got that right, with this tech in place, your phone will be ready for action in half a minute. Amazing!

The company’s Nanodot technology is described as “bio-organic peptide molecules that change the rules of mobile device capabilities.” They already have a working prototype that was tested with Samsung Galaxy S3, but this setup won’t be ready for prime time before the late 2016.

What they have is a relatively big charger for making this possible. We don’t mind the size if it can really re-juice our batteries that fast, but nonetheless – they want to shrink the size of this thing.

We love this, and we want this now! One would think we “deserve” better chargers in this day and age. Now if they could also cram these fast chargers inside cars, that would be even more amazing. 😉
