The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will come preloaded with no less than 277 APKs, EVleaks is saying. That’s a massive amount of bloatware, though we must add than many of these APKs — not all of which are apps — are used for connecting to various Google services. Still, we’re sure most users would be able to get through the day with half of that.

The “regular” Galaxy S5 comes with IP67 certification, allowing users to submerge it in 1 meter (3.2 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes. The Active variant will build on top of that, most likely getting the IP68 certification that will enable it to keep working even after it’s been submerged to 1.5 meters (5 feet) of water for one hour. That’s a nice feat and also something the standard Sony Xperia Z2 can pull off right from the bet.

We’ve no idea when the Galaxy S5 Active will be officially announced but with all these leaks coming in, chances are this will be a short wait. In the U.S. it may be offered by AT&T and Sprint…
