After the successful worldwide launch, Samsung is obviously bullish on the prospects of its latest flagship smartphone, Galaxy S5. According to The Korea Times report, the company expects to ship no less than 35 million Galaxy S5 units between April and June.
All these units are estimated to bring-in 17 trillion won (more than $16.3 billion) in revenues during Q2, the fact that impressed industry analysts who now predict an amazing quarter for Samsung.
However, we must that the number of shipped devices doesn’t equal to the number of sold devices. Last year, the Korean giant shipped around 63 million Galaxy S4 units, but sold “only” 40 million.
Samsung has yet to comment on the sales targets for the Galaxy S5.
