Samsung is working on another big phone, part of its Mega series. The still unannounced Galaxy Mega 7.0 (marked as SM-T2558) has been caught at TENAA, which is China’s equivalent of the FCC.

As a phone from this family, it’s rather mediocre, specs wise. The Galaxy Mega 7.0 will come with a 7-inch screen, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, and 8GB of expandable storage. Chinese version will sport TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE connectivity, making it compatible with China Mobile’s 3G and 4G networks.

We’ve no idea whether this Galaxy Mega phone will also be unveiled in other parts of the world. It is said that people in Asia love huge phones, so perhaps few other markets across the continent get it as well. Meanwhile, the rest of us will opt for a same-sized tablet which doesn’t “act” as phone. 😉
