A new, still unannounced Motorola device marked as XT912A has been caught at GFX Bench, and we think it could be the earlier rumored Moto X+1.

Alas, we’re not sure and this could also be another member of Verizon’s Droid family. In fact, the 2011 Droid Razr was marked as XT912 so this could also be a new RAZR phone.

Still, we want to believe this is indeed the Moto X+1 which won’t be stuck to Verizon Wireless and will rather be available all around the world.

From its benchmark results, we see the phone packs a 5.2-inch full HD screen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip clocked at 2.3GHz, 12-megapixel rear camera, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The still unreleased Android 4.4.3 is running the show.

This somehow goes in line with Moto X, which never aimed for the stars – it was a mid-end phone with an affordable price more people could afford. We’re also hoping that in the meantime, Motorola will manage to replace the S800 with a more potent Snapdragon 801, but alas – that would be asking too much. More to come, obviously.
