BLU Products working on a Windows Phone device

BLU Products is the company we best known for their affordable Android devices. Now they’re looking to expand to other markets, and eventually launch a Windows Phone device.

The image you can see above was shared on BLU’s Facebook page, hinting us we’ll soon see a BLU smartphone running Microsoft’s mobile platform.

We’re not sure what this phone will be all about, but chances are it won’t be a powerhouse that can compete with top Lumia models. Rather, it will likely offer a decent value for money, aiming for first-time smartphone buyers and folks who don’t want to spend a small fortune on their phone purchase.

Microsoft has recently decided to kill the license fees for devices with screens of up to 9 inches and remove specific hardware requirements, hoping to get many Android handset makers on board. This strategy is apparently working like a charm…
